Reporting an Absence

It is paramount to your child’s education that they regularly attend school; there is an expectation that a child’s attendance, over the course of the year, will be 96 per cent or more. If you do need to report a child’s absence, it should be reported by calling the school office by 9am every morning.  

Please call the main school office if your child is absent.

Attendance that falls below 90 per cent is categorised by the government as persistent absence and will be taken very seriously by both the Academy and the Trust. We will ask parents to please ensure that absences are only taken as a necessity and that you inform the school if they are needed.
